What are Loops?
Loops are backing tracks played along with a band to a metronome that cover parts that the band on stage cannot. These loops normally include electronic synth sounds, string arrangements, electronic drum sounds. Loops are usually created in Propellerhead Reason or Ableton Live (my loops are created in Reason). Loops can then be played through a laptop on stage through Ableton Live or through iTunes. They can even be played back by an iPod.
